Tjorn

Tjorn is a beautiful ancient pond located a stone's throw from Reykjavik's old town. The first Viking settlers here picked a small plot of land between Tjorn and the harbor, so the city group up alongside the pond over the last1000 years. Today, Tjorn is a peaceful place with hundreds of waterfowl, including the champion migrating bird, the arctic tern.
