The Ubud Monkey forest is a small nature preserve on the southern outskirts of Ubud (see map). Along with its lush surroundings and a beautiful temple are hundreds of monkeys -- Balinese macaques, to be more specific. They're very tolerant of people, but are famous for stealing food and sunglasses from tourists, so you have to be careful around them.
